4 Lakewood high school football players charged with armed robbery

LAKEWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Four members of a high school football team in Ocean County, New Jersey are under arrest, charged in an armed robbery spree.

The suspects all play for the Lakewood High School football team.

Police say on Thursday night, they carried out three armed robberies targeting residents in Lakewood.

Investigators then linked three of the suspects to a pair of armed robberies last month in Toms River.

18-year old Devin Delaine is now under arrest, along with three others who are not being identified because they are juveniles.
