6,000-gallon milk tanker overturns on Rt. 202 in Chester County

TREDYFFIN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- An early morning crash spilled thousands of gallons of milk in Tredyffin Township, Chester County.

It happened just before 4 a.m. on Friday on Route 202 southbound, at Cedar Hollow Road.

Officials say the driver of a 6,000-gallon milk tanker had lost control and overturned on the roadway.

No other vehicles were involved but the driver was trapped inside, officials said. There has been no word on the driver's condition.

Hazmat responded to the scene for the spilled milk.
