6abc hosts Black History Month community awards dinner

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- 6abc was proud to host the annual Black History Month community awards dinner Thursday night.

Four African Americans who have created opportunities and greater access for the people they serve in our communities were honored.

They included Darryl Bundrige, of City Year, Marianne Fray, of Maternity Care Coalition, Mel Wells of One Day At A Time (ODAAT) and Loree Jones Brown, of Philabundance.

6abc Vice President of Community Engagement Niki Hawkins joined several colleagues to celebrate the honorees.
