OXFORD CIRCLE (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Water Department spent the day working to repair a broken water main in Oxford Circle.
It happened just before noon Wednesday on the 100 block of Van Kirk Street.

Officials said an 8-inch water main broke impacting about 70 homes.
The water department tells Action News water was restored shortly after 8 p.m.
