PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Immigration activists gathered at City Hall on Tuesday to hand-deliver a letter to Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker.
Representatives of more than 60 groups are requesting that the mayor meet with communities directly impacted by ongoing ICE operations.
The activists are also calling on the city to immediately implement ICE Out legislation passed by City Council earlier this year.
Earlier this month, a federal judge blocked the city from implementing a mask ban for federal agents that was included in that legislation.
