It happened just after 3 a.m. on the 5600 block of Ridgewood Street.
When police arrived, they found 35-year-old Dontae White had been shot in the head.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to officials, White was shot by his 24-year-old nephew after a fight between the two.
The nephew was taken into custody.
His identity has not yet been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
