BRISTOL BOROUGH, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- For these two Bristol High School students, they help keep each other sharp in academics, athletics, and in fire school.

Jacob Barber and Marco Berrocal both have dedicated their free time to their football team, and are volunteering with Bristol Consolidated Fire Station 50.

"Fun having someone that's always there, someone that always knows what I'm going through," said Marco Berrocal.

"Football is all physical and mental. Firefighting is the same way. It's challenging physically and mentally. And what I've learned from football has helped me with the fire service and vice versa," he continued.
