PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The City of Philadelphia honored fallen Police Officers, Firefighters and First Responders on Wednesday.
Mayor Cherelle Parker joined Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel and other officials for the ceremony on Franklin Square.
The community remembered those who lost their lives in the line of duty. Officials also took the time to recognize the loved ones they left behind.
The mayor and police commissioner were also joined by fellow officials and community members in placing wreaths by the Living Flame Memorial.
