The park's closure marks the second shutdown in recent years. Clementon Park first shut down in 2019 following a foreclosure and sale to new owners. It reopened in 2021 under new ownership and has operated since then.
In a statement, park officials reflected on the park's history and future.
"It has been a privilege to care for a place that has meant so much to generations of families. We are hopeful that we will find a buyer who shares our love for Clementon Park and will carry its history and legacy forward," park officials said in the statement.
Officials said additional details regarding the sale will be shared as they become available.
The statement concluded by thanking visitors and supporters of the park.
"Thank you for the memories, the support and five wonderful seasons. We are truly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey," the statement concluded.
