The hilarious and nostalgic new stage play is based on the popular board game and adapted from the fan-favorite film.
It stars a West Chester native who says the audience plays along in real time as they work to uncover whodunnit!
"I love the game, I love the movie, and I love bringing it to life on stage," says Madeline Raube, who says she's thrilled to be part of the killer cast of Clue in an iconic role.
"I played the board game growing up, and I always used to pick Miss Scarlet," she says. "I am playing Mrs. Peacock in this production, which is so much fun. She is sort of an over-the-top, crazy, neurotic, quick-to-hysteria character. She's got all of the bells and whistles."
Raube says the audience should come to the theater ready to laugh!
"It's your classic whodunnit, slapstick comedy," she says. "The audience is with us for the ride."
This is Raube's second time touring here in her hometown. She was first on stage at the Academy of Music in "Anastasia the Musical."
"I grew up there seeing shows there, and it felt so magical to be on that stage," she says.
So, who can we accuse? In what room? With what weapon?
"You have to come to find out who did it," Raube says.
"CLUE" is on stage from January 20-25 at the Forrest Theatre.
