Officials broke ground on The Piazza at Ardmore on Wednesday on Ardmore Avenue.
The project will transform an entire city block.
The mixed-use development will include 30,000 square feet of street-level retail, and 19,000 square feet of outdoor courtyard space.
Hundreds of new jobs will come to the heart of the Main Line as part of this project.
It is set to open in February 2028, exactly 100 years after Suburban Square first opened in 1928.
