The vehicle, impounded along Whitaker Avenue, is being examined by investigators, according to sources. Action News was outside the lot getting an exclusive first look at the BMW, which Horsch was arrested with in June.
A motion filed Aug. 21 requests that the vehicle be returned to Horsch, the BMW's owner. According to court documents, attorneys argue there is no evidence that drugs found inside the vehicle were intended for distribution and contend they were for personal use.

The BMW became part of an investigation that led authorities to a property on Chew Avenue in the city's Olney neighborhood. Investigators continue to process a large amount of digital evidence collected from the location.
Police have executed 95 search warrants at the property since June, according to authorities.
Investigators located several hard drives containing hundreds of thousands of images and videos. While authorities have reviewed only a small portion of the material, police say the evidence provided an early break in the case by connecting two women who had been missing for years to the home.
Police said images and videos appeared to show the women deceased. The women were identified as Maribel Fresses, who disappeared in 2018 at age 27, and Gabriella Amarando, who was reported missing in 2012 at age 22.

Authorities have not found their bodies.
Investigators also removed more than 20 containers of an unknown substance from what police described as an at-home laboratory in the basement. The containers were sent to a federal laboratory in Chicago for testing.
According to police, other items collected from the property included five urns containing cremated remains, zip ties and a handwritten note mentioning serial killer Ted Bundy.
Horsch has remained in custody since his arrest at Independence Mall in June.
The request for the return of the BMW remains pending. Court documents state the vehicle could be worth up to $39,000 and that its return would help pay legal fees. The government has only a few days remaining to respond to the motion.
Horsch is not scheduled to appear in court again until January.
