PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The issue of bike lane safety was the focus of a rally at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Friday night.
Chopper 6 was overhead as hundreds of bicyclists gathered and rode down Center City streets, all the way to City Hall.
The group is calling for bike lane protection for the area of Spruce and Pine streets.
They claim the city will only add curbside concrete barriers for only half of the bike lanes.
Action News has reached out to Philadelphia city leaders for comment, but have not yet heard back.
