Data center considered despite township ban

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPVI) -- The Monroe Township, Gloucester County planning board is considering a possible data center despite them being banned in the township.

The board accepted an application from Hexa Developers during a meeting Tuesday night.

Hexa wants to build a warehouse distribution facility and data center along Black Horse Pike.

The application will be reviewed and presented to the public at a future meeting.
