Delaware man charged with multiple counts of indecent exposure and other lewd behavior

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- A 41-year-old man is accused of flashing motorists and people at a business in Bear, Delaware, on Friday.

New Castle County police say they responded to reports of a man with his pants down, exposing himself to people driving by, in the area of Songsmith Drive and Carvel Lane around 4:25 p.m.

Officers located a man matching the witnesses' description near a business on Quintilio Drive.

After speaking with the suspect, identified as John Warhop, police say another victim came forward with a report of a separate incident of indecent exposure in front of a business located in the 400 block of Governors Place.

Delaware State Police are handling that part of the investigation.



Warhop has been charged with three counts of lewdness, three counts of indecent exposure in the second degree, one count of disorderly conduct, and one count of public intoxication.

He has been placed in the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution with a cash bail set at $1,010.
