Demolition permits filed for Concord Mall in Wilmington, Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Shoppers could soon be saying goodbye to the Concord Mall in Wilmington, Delaware.

A permit was filed with New Castle County to demolish the 850,000-square-foot retail center.

According to the application, a much smaller building would be constructed in its place.

The county would still need to sign off on the new development plans.
