CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Dozens of nursing students got a real life lesson Thursday in just how critical a role they may play.
Widener University's School of Nursing hosted a simulated disaster on its campus.

The 150 nursing students, though, had no idea it was going to happen.
The school's director said it was a perfect opportunity to give the nurses-in-training an understanding of disaster situations.

Each was assigned a specific role, and then got to debrief once it was all said and done.
