Driver injured in head-on crash in East Oak Lane

EAST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Rescue crews had to pull a driver from the wreckage of a head-on crash in Philadelphia's East Oak Lane neighborhood.

The crash happened after 1 a.m. Tuesday on the unit block of West Cheltenham Avenue.

Police say the 2-vehicle crash was the end result of a chase between a boyfriend and a girlfriend.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
