LINWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- High school students in Atlantic County, New Jersey got behind the wheel of a DUI Simulator, and learned an important lesson.
The program took place at Mainland High School in Linwood on Tuesday.
The desktop simulator captures the consequences of what happens when you drive intoxicated or distracted.
Students experienced the feelings of driving under the influence and saw actual videos of police administering field sobriety tests.
The program is a joint effort between the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office and the HERO Campaign.
