The news broke late Monday afternoon that the Eagles traded the star wide receiver to the New England Patriots for a first-round draft pick in 2028 and a 2027 fifth-round pick.
It's a trade that's been anticipated for months, but some fans still weren't convinced it would happen.

Malik Mack, of West Philadelphia, told Action News, "I really wasn't expecting it. He didn't really get a chance! They weren't throwing him the ball."
"The writing was on the wall, but at the same time I felt like it was too soon to say, 'Yeah, let's just get him out of here,'" said Daquan Bradley, of West Philadelphia.
There's no denying Brown left his mark on the Eagles organization. He helped the Birds reach the Super Bowl twice during his four-year run, contributing to the team's second Super Bowl championship in the 2024 season.
But Brown was also known to air out his frustrations with the Eagles' offense, either with cryptic social media posts or during media scrums.
One Eagles fan told Action News, "I feel like he really didn't want to be here, and this is a city that you have to play with your whole heart. The fans want that and they expect that."
Tom Hushen, of Ridley Park, added, "I don't think he was a locker room guy... His chemistry wasn't there at the end when they were in the playoffs."
The three-time Pro Bowler shared a statement Monday afternoon, thanking the Eagles organization and fans.
He said, in part, "This city, this locker room, and this fan base will always hold a special place in my heart... Playing for this city has been an honor, and I'm thankful for every moment I had in midnight green."
