"Orlando was free spirited, he was a jokester. He's truly missed by everyone. We love him so much," says a family member.
The family of Orlando Diaz Jr. is still trying to come to terms with his violent death.
The 20-year-old man was shot and killed while in his car just before 10 p.m. along the 1700 block of Brill Street in the city's Frankford section on February 2, 2026.
"He had a long life ahead of him, and they cut that short. It's not fair."
His family says that Orlando was on his way to pick up his girlfriend from work when it happened.
An empty bookbag inside his car was taken.
