FIFA World Cup practice sites in NJ announced

GALLOWAY TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- More FIFA World Cup practice sites were announced, including one in South Jersey.

N.J. Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced Tuesday that Haiti's soccer team will train at Stockton University in Galloway Township.

The Garden State will also serve as a home base for several other teams: Brazil will train at Columbia Park in Morris Township, Senegal at Rutgers University in Piscataway, and Morocco at The Pingry School in Basking Ridge.

In February, it was announced that Ivory Coast, one of Africa's most popular soccer teams, will be headquartered at the Philadelphia Union's stadium in Chester.

The FIFA World Cup runs June 11th - July 19th.



The Linc in Philadelphia will host six matches, including Ivory Coast vs. Ecuador on June 14th and Brazil vs. Haiti on June 19th.
