Fire at Cheltenham seminary placed under control

CHELTENHAM TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters were able to get a fire at a Montgomery County seminary under control.

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. Monday in the basement of Westminster Theological Seminary at Church and Sunset roads in Cheltenham Township.

Seminarians and other residents were evacuated until the situation was declared under control.

They were allowed back in when the smoke cleared.

No injuries have been reported.
