Fire, explosion at South Philadelphia paper factory

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A hazmat investigation is underway following a fire and explosion at a South Philadelphia paper factory.

The incident began around 8:00 a.m. Monday at Pier 34 on the 2100 block of South Columbus Boulevard.

One person was treated for breathing in too much smoke during the fire.

There are, however, no reports that anyone was sickened by any hazardous materials.
