Firefighter injured while battling blaze inside row home in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A firefighter was injured while battling a blaze inside a row home in Camden, New Jersey, on Tuesday morning.

It happened at 4:30 a.m. along the 800 block of Spruce Street.

Officials say the firefighter was injured when a stairwell collapsed.

He was taken to Cooper Hospital in stable condition with a shoulder injury and burns to his legs.

Crews were able to get the fire under control.



So far, there's no word on what caused the fire.
