Firefighter injured after battling reignited house fire in Laurel Springs, NJ

LAUREL SPRINGS, NJ (WPVI) -- A firefighter was taken to the hospital after battling a house fire in Camden County on Wednesday.

Flames first broke out at a property on Cameron Circle in Laurel Springs at 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Firefighters placed it under control, and no one was hurt.

Then, the fire reignited just before 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

The fire department said it went into a defensive attack as crews inside the home made a mayday call.



One firefighter was taken to the hospital for non-fire-related injuries.

Action News does not have the firefighter's condition.

However, crews have once again placed the fire under control.
