Firefighters battle blaze inside row home in Philadelphia's Brewerytown neighborhood

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters worked to extinguish a blaze that broke out inside a three-story row home in Philadelphia's Brewerytown neighborhood early Tuesday morning.

It happened just after 2 a.m. on the 1200 block of North 29th Street.

Crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the upper floor of the three-story row home.

Everyone inside the house was evacuated, as well as residents in neighboring homes.

Officials say they focused on the upper floor and roof area.



The fire was placed under control in about 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

There's no word yet on what sparked the blaze.
