Crews were called to the 4300 block of Rising Sun Avenue around 6:15 p.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy flames coming from the Richard S. Burns & Company Material Processing & Recycling Facility.
The fire was brought under control just before 7 p.m.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
