Crews were called to the 600 block of Wissahickon Avenue around 10:10 p.m. Monday.

Upon arrival, they reported fire showing from the rear of the wood frame Cape Cod style single family home.
After roughly 10 minutes, a tactical decision was made for firefighters to evacuate the home and employ an external attack.
No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation.
