The two friends encourage creativity at their store by focusing on craft items, gifts, and drawing and painting mediums.
Along with their unique art inventory, you'll find a rotating selection of local artists' work on the walls, available for purchase.
While they offer an array of art supplies, there is also a studio downstairs where they host free art workshops called Thursday Night Art Club.
The owners are both alumni of The Tyler School of Art, but became friends at design agency Blue Cadet. After leaving the agency, the two reconnected during the pandemic to pursue their dreams of opening an art store.
In March 2025, the two opened the doors to Freehand Supply and are excited to provide art materials to fine arts and hobbyists in the Fishtown Neighborhood.
