DEPTFORD TWP. N.J. (WPVI) -- Investigators say a can of insect spray that fell from a store shelf sparked a hazmat situation inside a Walmart in Gloucester County, New Jersey.

A total of 19 people were sent to the hospital because of the fumes.

It happened Tuesday afternoon inside the store on Cooper Street in Deptford Township.

Investigators say an aerosol can of Hot Shot Flying Insect Killer fell from a shelf and landed beneath a shelving system.

The can was found during a deep cleaning later that night.

Authorities say there is no evidence of foul play.

No serious injuries were reported.
