CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Cooper University Healthcare has received one of the largest financial gifts in its history.

Cooper Health Board Chair George Norcross III is donating $100 million to the health system and Cooper's MD Anderson Cancer Center.

It was made in honor of the Norcross family's 50 year relationship with Cooper Health.

"We are so proud to make this contribution to ensure that Cooper and the thousands of talented, committed professionals who make a difference every day for the people of Camden and South Jersey can continue the important work of investing in their future and in Camden's continued renaissance," said Norcross.
