Through the "Seeds to Success" farm stand with Glassboro High School, participants get hands-on experience working with customers, preparing them for future careers.
"I love working with the students. We have great customers here. They come back every year, having a fun time, talking with them, seeing them interact with the students, seeing the students interact with them," said Glassboro High School Business Teacher, Robert Hemmes.
The program has wrapped up for the Summer of 2026, but they have high hopes for it to return in 2027.
"Going into their senior year, they can go out and actually get a job...know how to handle money, work, interact with customers and with other employees....We're looking forward to starting again next year and building and making it a better program," said Hemmes.
