GMA's Sam Champion, who is often a parade special guest, made a big announcement on Wednesday morning.
Design of a GMA balloon that you'll see along the parkway this year is underway!
It will be a larger-than-life version of the show's mascot, Ray.
More than 15 people at Starbound Entertainment are working on the balloon.
They gave GMA a preview of the initial clay mold.
Over the next four weeks, designers will work to bring the 45-foot-tall Ray to life.
That's as tall as a four to five-story building.
Keep an eye out for Ray during the 6abc Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27.
