OLD CITY (WPVI) -- Attend Cocktails & Congress at Carpenters' Hall in Old City and you can grab a drink and a snack then sit back and listen to conversations from the First Continental Congress, which met in the very same room in the fall of 1774.
The history happy hours are designed to give you a front row seat to the questions that divided the delegates, from the seemingly small matter of who should open the Congress with a prayer to bigger arguments about taxation and representation.
There are 2 scenes, each about 12 minutes long, with a mix and mingle intermission.
They run Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm through August 28th.
