PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Law enforcement, incuding the FBI, homicide investigators and the bomb squad, are at a home in Philadelphia's Olney section on Friday as they piece together what's being described as a complex case.

While officials have not elaborated on the circumstances of the investigation within the home, a man has been arrested.

Only Actions News was outside the home in the 400 block of Chew Avenue Thursday night when homicide investigators were called out.

According to court documents, Eugene Horsch is in custody on drug and firearms charges. Sources say he was picked up for allegedly making fraudulent government IDs.

Action News has been told the DEA initially started on the investigation last week.

Sources say their focus is within the basement of the home, where investigators have allegedly found all the elements needed to make an explosive device. However, they added that nothing had been assembled.

The FBI. homicide and crime scene investigators, as well as the bomb squad, spent a lot of time going in and out of the home.

Law enforcement is at a home in Philadelphia's Olney section Friday amid an ongoing investigation.

While this started as a DEA investigation, a warrant has been obtained by the Philadelphia police homicide unit.

Action News spoke with neighbors, who saw investigators first at the home on Friday.

"They had the street blocked off the same way they do now, and I pulled up to look for parking. I saw SWAT standing out there -- four men with guns," said Rayne Williams.

There are still a lot of questions to be answered. For now, the home remains closed off and surrounded by crime scene tape.
