It happened around 10 a.m. in the 1900 block of Stratton Drive.
Neighbors reported hearing an explosion before seeing the fire start consuming the home.
The four family members were not home at the time, but two dogs were. Fortunately, the dogs were rescued from the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
