There were no immediate reports of injuries.

The crash brought rush hour traffic to a standstill for nearly an hour approaching Cottman Avenue.

By 6:30 a.m. the backup extended back past Woodhaven Road.

For a short time, police were diverting all southbound traffic off of I-95 at Woodhaven Road to ease the congestion.

By 7 a.m. images from Sky 6 traffic cameras showed the vehicles involved in the crash off to the side and all lanes of southbound I-95 traffic moving again.

Motorists were advised to expect continued delays in the area as traffic flow returned to normal.
