Dr. Joshua Weikert finished with $23,601 on Friday night.
Weikert is a lifelong fan of the show and he's been preparing for this moment since he was young.
Weikert has been taking the online test for Jeopardy! for more than 10 years before he finally got a call to be a part of the show.
He's a Professor of Political Science at Immaculata University.
On Friday night, family, friends and faculty members gathered on campus for a watch party.

Those who came out to support him were also anxious to learn his fate.
"It's almost tough to put into words. I'm ecstatic. I'm so proud of him. He's always been outstanding so it doesn't surprise me," said James Weikert, Josh's grandfather.
Weikert has pledged 10% of any winnings to a scholarship fund for veterans and their families.
"Jeopardy!" airs weeknights at 7 p.m. on 6abc.
