Chopper 6 was above the scene just before 8 p.m. as crews worked to douse the flames on the unit block of East Scott Street.
Action News has learned that that the building housed a store on the first floor and apartments above it.
There's no word on whether anyone was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
