Jellyfish stings on the rise at Delaware beach

Updated 2 hours ago
SOUTH BETHANY, Del. (WPVI) -- Jellyfish stings are on the rise at a Delaware beach.

South Bethany lifeguard James Baffone says when the water starts to warm up, more jellyfish tend to crowd the coastline.

He offered some natural remedies for dealing with a sting.

Baffone added that jellyfish arrived a bit earlier than usual this year.

They normally show up along the shore by early to mid-August.
