Judge overturns murder conviction for man accused of killing Philadelphia Police Officer Moses Walker

Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner plans to respond to a judge's ruling that overturned a murder conviction for the killing of Philadelphia police officer.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner plans to respond to a judge's ruling that overturned a murder conviction for the killing of Philadelphia Police Officer Moses Walker.

The judge threw out the first-degree murder conviction of Rafael Jones on Monday. He was found guilty in 2015 for the 2012 killing of Officer Walker during a robbery in North Philadelphia.

Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner plans to respond to a judge's ruling that overturned a murder conviction for the killing of Philadelphia police officer.

Walker was off-duty and heading home from his shift at the time of the deadly shooting.

Another man pleaded guilty in the killing.

Krasner will hold a news conference at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
