Robert Downey Jr. goes to the DMV just like everybody else

Celebrities, even famous superheroes, are just like us. Robert Downey Jr. aka 'Iron Man' visited the DMV in Santa Monica, Calif. Tuesday to renew his driver's license. What's more is that he decided to post photos of himself going through the mundane chore to Twitter. Take a look.


The post has been re-tweeted more than 3,000 times and favorited by more than 8,000 Twitter users in just one day.

We're not sure why, or how, he was allowed behind the DMV counter though we assume the agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. had asked him to do so for his personal security.

And we're pretty sure he didn't have to wait in line for two hours like the rest of us.
