Lane closures on Delaware Memorial Bridge through late November 2026

NEW CASTLE Del. (WPVI) -- Drivers heading north on the Delaware Memorial Bridge will encounter lane closures beginning Monday as crews start a bridge maintenance project.

The two right northbound lanes will be closed while crews replace 46 bridge joints.

Officials said the closures are expected to remain in place through Nov. 24., 2026.

The two left northbound lanes will remain open during the work.

Drivers traveling through the area should expect fewer available lanes while the project is underway.
