CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- All lanes are back open on the Vine Street Expressway (I-676) in Center City Philadelphia after a jackknifed tractor-trailer jammed traffic for hours.

The incident happened before 5:30 a.m. Friday in the westbound lanes approaching the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76).

Images from Sky 6 cameras showed the crash blocking the left lane approaching the ramp leading to the westbound Schuylkill Expressway.

PennDOT crews set up a detour directing traffic into the right lanes as crews worked to straighten the truck and clear the scene.

The traffic backup on I-676 West was extensive through much of morning rush hour.

Crews had finally cleared the scene by 8:00 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries.
