CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Forty-nine cute canines mixed it up Sunday in another Super Bowl tradition - Puppy Bowl XII on the Animal Planet network.
The dogs came from 44 shelters and rescue groups to shine a spotlight on the great pets waiting for their forever homes.

One dog, Leah the Rottweiler, came from the Morris Animal Refuge in Center City.
The shelter celebrated it's celebrity dog with a watch party, which doubled as a fundraiser for the shelter's programs.
Leah got lots of treats and cuddling.
Meanwhile, since the Puppy Bowl was filmed, Leah has found a new, loving home with the Evans family.
