PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Elder Initiative at William Way LGBT Community Center hosted an intergenerational meal and panel discussion to honor our region's LGBTQ+ elders.
It took place in Center City at St. Luke's on 13th street in Philadelphia.
The church has a long history of being the center of activism in the LGBTQ community. Many of the men and women in attendance were at the forefront of that movement.
The panel discussion featured some of Philadelphia's LGBTQ trailblazers who paved the way for so many men and women to live and love more openly.
