PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia firefighters, paramedics and EMTs have a new two-year contract with the city.
However, the union is not happy with it.
The head of the Local 22 firefighters and paramedics union slammed Mayor Cherelle Parker because they say they are receiving a wage increase lower than what police officers received.
It includes wage increases totaling 8% over the length of the contract.
The deal is retroactive to July of last year and extends through June of 2027.
