Man charged with child porn, secretly recording stepdaughters

WEST GOSHEN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A West Chester, Pa. man accused of secretly recording his stepdaughters through holes in the attic has been charged with invasion of privacy and child pornography.

The suspect has been charged with child pornography (filming), child pornography (possession), criminal use of a communication facility, intercept communications and invasion of privacy.

Earlier this month, the suspect's wife told West Goshen Police detectives she noticed her husband spending an excessive amount of time in the basement and attic of their home.

The woman found her husband's iPad tablet stored in a remote area of the attic. She stated to police that she also located several unexplained holes in the drywall ceiling areas above the bathroom and bedrooms within the home.

The West Goshen Police received a search warrant for the iPad and discovered child pornography including sexually explicit images and videos of the minor stepchildren as viewed from the attic of the home.



On June 17, police interviewed the suspect, who allegedly admitted to the videotaping and the possession of the child pornography on his iPad.

He was committed to the Chester County Prison in lieu of posting $300,000 cash bail.
