PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 60-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in the city's Olney section, according to Philadelphia police.
Officers were called to the 5900 block of Mascher Street around 5:45 a.m. after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police rushed the man to Jefferson Einstein Hospital, where he was pronounced dead just after 6 a.m.
No arrests have been made, and no weapon was recovered at the scene.
